Separation quality depends heavily on the quality, complexity, and mixing of the source file.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of your uploaded files and the generated stems. StemX claims no rights over your source audio or the output files. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Our Service: The StemX platform, including its design, features, AI models, and technology, remains our exclusive property and is protected by intellectual property laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StemX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
By You: You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. All associated metadata will be removed. Remaining credits and active subscription time are forfeited upon deletion.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. We will provide notice except in cases of severe violations.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on StemX, including subscription plans and any additional credit packages. By making a purchase, you accept these terms in full.

All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes (VAT). Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept:
Your payment information is transmitted securely and we never store your full card details.
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) from the date of initial purchase.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current price for your plan.
Failed Payments: If payment fails, we will retry and notify you. After multiple failures, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded to the Free plan.
Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. New credits are added immediately.
Downgrades: When downgrading to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan until then.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
You may reactivate your subscription before the billing period ends to continue uninterrupted service.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU): Under EU consumer protection laws, you have 14 days from purchase to request a full refund if you have not used the service. Once you begin processing audio files, you waive this right as the service has been provided.
General Policy: Due to the immediate nature of digital services and GPU processing costs:
To request a refund, contact us at contact@stemx.fr with your account details and reason for the request. Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
The Free plan provides 5 credits as a one-time allowance at no cost, allowing users to test the service. No payment information is required for the Free plan. Free credits are granted once upon account creation and do not reset or accumulate.
All prices include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) for EU customers. For customers outside the EU, you may be responsible for any local taxes or duties. VAT invoices are provided for all purchases and available in your account.
An invoice/receipt is automatically generated and sent to your registered email address after each successful payment. You can also access your billing history and download invoices from your account settings.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service. For significant changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days notice. If we discontinue a paid feature without replacement, affected subscribers may be entitled to a prorated refund.
For billing disputes or issues, please contact us at contact@stemx.fr before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.
These Terms of Sale do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable local laws. EU consumers have additional protections under the Consumer Rights Directive.
